Maegan Says

On our website there is a section called “Maegan Says.” It is a collection of funny quotes that I began collecting last year. There is only one single link to it via a tiny graphic located in Maegan’s mini bio section, not visible unless you scroll down the page. But oddly enough, “Maegan Says” has become more and more popular lately. How people manage to find and click on that link more often than some of the main menu items, I don’t know. So the only logical step is to give the masses what they want. I have now placed a link to the “Maegan Says” section on the main navigation menu. Keep talking Maegan!

Ballerina

After nearly a year of dance classes, Maegan finally had her dance recital.

The Last Post For 15 Months

Once in a while I stop in to let everyone know I’m still here. Earlier this month we all went to Florida. It was great. Lately I’ve been working on my newest website,  The Dugout . Also, softball season begins next week. I’m sure other stuff is going on but I can’t think of it right now. I promise that after I revise my website this summer, it’ll get updated more regularly. * The blog entry above was originally posted in March of 2002, but was just re-posted from backup files in 2007. Despite the promise above to regularly update the website, this is apparently the last time I posted to my blog until 15 months later.

Emmy Award

Last night I won an Emmy Award for “Mayberry Mysteries”. Last year I was nominated for “Fife Club” but didn’t win.

Fifth Anniversary / Charleston Failure

Last Friday was Patty and my fifth anniversary. We went to Morton’s for dinner. Incredible service and atmosphere, but we were disappointed by the steaks. They were good, but we expected much better. Then on Saturday we went to Charleston for the first time with Maegan to see the Aquarium. It happened to be community appreciation day and tickets were only $1, which made all the locals come out and we couldn’t get in because of the three hour line that went around the block just to buy tickets. That trip sucked big time, but we’ll try to visit again on a more normal day.

Kahunta Comeback

I won my Fantasy Football league. I had a 7-7 record for the “regular season” but pulled off back-to-back-to-back upsets to take the championship. Booya!

Happy New Year

I didn’t write anything in the entire month of December, but Happy New Year!
